Obituary of Lucia Jetter

Lucia Jetter, 81, passed away Sunday, October 17th, 2021. Lucia is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Guadalupe Matthes; husband of 58 wonderful years, John “Marshall” Jetter; sisters, Frida Corrales, and Lola Womack. Left to cherish Lucia’s memory are her son, Mark Jetter and wife Angela; daughters, Marcia Bettilyon and husband Bruce, Minnette McArthur and husband Steve; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of many other family and friends. Lucia was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend. Since 1996, Lucia lived in the Country Place community. She enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing Mahjong within the community. Lucia especially enjoyed “heading east” with her friends to play Slot machines whenever she could. She also enjoyed being at home and working in her garden. Lucia will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
