Frank Paul Guerra of Pearland, passed away on December 11, 2010 at the age of 55. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Josefa Guerra; and sister, Mary Helen Guerra. Frank is survived by his wife Rosie; sons, Conrad Capetillo and his wife Michele, Frank Guerra Jr. and his wife Veronica, Richard Castaneda and his wife Elizabeth, and Aaron Guerra; daughters, Amanda Turner and her husband William, Christina Gracia and her husband Wally, and Jamie Castaneda; brothers Ray Guerra, Sonny Guerra and his wife Mary; sisters Irene Ruiz and her husband Catarino, Angie Palomino, Ambrosia Nunez, and Doris Medina; grandchildren, Harlee, Jacob, Jared, Jarren, Nathan, Jordon, Dylan, Kie, Jessica, Patrick, Kayla, Dustin, Abigail, Brandon; great grandchild, Emma; as well as a host of many other family and friends.
Frank was a strong and devoted man, who worked for Sea Lion Technology for 34 years. He was a wonderful provider for his family and cherished the times he got to spend with them. Frank spent his life giving to those around him, whether it was to his family, friends, the homeless or those in need. He was the patriarch of the family and always put the family first. Frank and Rosie had been married for 6 years but had been together for 17 years. He was a devoted brother, husband, father and grandfather that was affectionately known as Poppy to his grandchildren.
Frank loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest; skydiving, riding his Harley, and traveling with Rosie on trips together. He could fix cars, build, weld or repair just about anything. Frank will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm with a 7 pm Rosary recited by Deacon Darvin Bordelon at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Road, Pearland, Texas 77581 on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 1 pm with Father Jim Courville officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
