Obituary of David Neal Moore

David Moore, 76, passed away December 2nd, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pinkard O’Neal and Katherine Delnay Moore. Left to cherish his memory are cousins, Bryan and Ann Moore, Ronald and Margaret Moore and family, Paul and Sherry Ericson and family, W.O. and Carol Childs and family, nephew Lacy Moore, and many other family and close friends. David was very loyal and caring to his family and friends. He loved barbecue and was an avid barbecue cook. He was a member of the Bottomless Pit BBQ team and participated in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Bar B Q Cookoff. David loved being outdoors, hunting, photographing, and videoing the wildlife. He enjoyed sitting around the fire pit each evening listening to all the tall tales and laughing with his buddies. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing whenever he had the opportunity. David was a lifelong Texas Longhorn football fan and an Astros fan. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside service will be held at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Houston, Wednesday December 8, at 1:00 pm, with Dr. Randy Gilchrist officiating.
