To my cousins. Bud was a special man. I cherish the memories of my childhood visiting him and Bea. Thinking back of putting too much syrup in the oats for Holey and the rest of the cows on the dairy farm and getting chewed out for it. And going out to round up the cows in the evening with that famous “hummon, hummon, hummon” call. I’ll never forget the evening we could not find Holey. After looking for a couple hours, we found her at the far end of the pasture giving birth to a little calf. I remember Bud explaining what was happening as I looked on with amazement. There are so many memories they would fill a book. And they are all precious to me. He was very special and I’ve thought about those times throughout my life. At 69 years old I cannot think of anyone who made such an impression. I will miss him. Your cousin Jimmy Price.
