Marc Allen Richard, a resident of Irving, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2007 at the age of 29 years. Marc was born May 19, 1978 in Houston, Texas to Clarence and Gertha (McNeil) Richard. Marc was raised in Clear Lake City and attended Clear Lake High School and Clearbrook High School. He graduated from Clearbrook High School in 1997. Marc excelled as a high school athlete in football, track and tennis. In addition, Marc was a U. S. T. A. Jr. ranked tennis player. He received his Catholic formation as a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church of Clear Lake City. Marc received his. B.S. from Texas Christian University and played Football and ran Track with the T.C.U. Hornfrogs. He transferred to the Dallas area and was affiliated with Medline Industries as a Marketing Executive in Medical Sales. Marc is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Houston Richard, Sr. and his maternal grandfather, Henry McNeil, Sr. He leaves to mourn a loving family; his parents, Clarence and Gertha Richard, of Clear Lake City; brother, Keith Richard and his wife Jennifer, of the Heights (Houston); sister, Nicole Richard, of Austin; longtime girlfriend, Isabelle Pallanca, of Houston; paternal grandmother, Luedna Carmen Richard, of Beaumont; maternal grandmother, Rose McNeil, of Sante Fe; aunts and uncles, Bessie and L.C. Winston, of Sante Fe, Henry and Vivian McNeil, Jr., of South Carolina, Perry McNeil, of Austin, David McNeil, of Hitchcock, Houston Richard, Jr., of Houston, Isabella and Ray Ladette, of Asbury Park, New Jersey, Ethel Paul, of Beaumont, Raymond and Cassandra Richard, of Beaumont and Margaret and Vincent Deshotel; his faithful companion, his dog Champ; and numerous cousins and other relatives as well as a host of dear friends. The family will receive friends from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM Thursday, August 16, 2007, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 15500 El Camino Real, Clear Lake City. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Friday, August 17, 2007, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph J. McCarthy, O. Carm., as celebrant. Rite of committal will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.
