Obituary of Shannon Alicia Crenshaw

Shannon Crenshaw, 41, passed away Wednesday, July 27^th. She is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Waudby, and sister, Jenny O’Donnell. She is survived by her husband, Dennis “LaRay” Crenshaw;  mother, Diana McFeeters Waudby; sons, Skylur Waudby, and Shade Crenshaw; daughter, Ashlynn Crenshaw; brother, Shawn Waudby; sisters, Tracy Mitchell and Rebecca Waudby, and a host of other family and friends.

Shannon was a very fun person to be around, she was known to be “Fun and Spontaneous”. She loved her children deeply and was a great mom. Shannon was a caring person and if someone was in need she was always there to help. She loved animals and was always feeding strays that came up to her house. She would go as far as bottle feeding orphaned kittens and squirrels. Shannon loved nature and the outdoors. In her spare time, she loved to go hiking and camping. She would not pass up a good live music show or concert. Shannon will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life for Shannon will be held on Wednesday August 3, from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel 201 S 3^rd St. Laporte.
