Bodie was known as a man who loved spending time with his family and friends. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the “Apple of His Eye”. His nephews and nieces called him “Uncle Jesse” and they all loved him very much. Bodie looked forward to gatherings with family and friends more than just about anything else. he was the kind of guy that would give you his last dollar, if he knew you were in need. Some thought him to be a bit stern at times, but he really was a loving man with a firm hand.
Bodie was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed his work tremendously. As a young boy he helped his father harvest strawberries in the fields. He loved sharpening knives and was extremely proud of his work, he could make them razor sharp! Bodie also enjoyed working on cars, was a die-hard Astros fan, and he loved his Stacy Adam shoes for sure. Bodie will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
