Obituary of Willard Leon Patrick

Willard Leon Patrick, 65, passed away on March 22, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Mattie Patrick. Leon is survived by his loving wife of more than 28 years, Lynn Patrick; son, Willard Leon Patrick Jr. and his wife, Dawnette; stepsons, Junior Killian, and Howard Killian; daughter, Brenda Safarik and her husband, Wes; stepdaughter, Donna Killian; more than 20 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; his close cousin, Clifton West; his baby chihuahua, “Rambo”; as well as a host of many other family and friends. Leon was the kindest gentleman you would ever meet. He loved his family dearly and was a good provider. Leon was a very skilled machinist and if given blueprints, he could make or build almost anything. He was especially proud of his Cajun roots and heritage which he passed on to his family. Leon never met a stranger and was always there to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. The family will be having a memorial service and family reunion at a later date.
