Carol Marie “Kitty” Williams, born January 16, 1928 in Houston, TX passed away March 25. Preceded in death by her parents Frank Gerald Ludwig and Margie Alma Neill and brother Kenneth Ludwig. Kitty is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Thomas E. Williams; her son, Tom Williams and wife Norma, her daughter, Gwen Marie Martin and husband Bruce, her granddaughter, Kay Lynn Sears and husband Robby and great grandson, Kaleb Sears. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and friends. Our thanks to the staff of Grace Care Center of Katy and Resolutions Hospice for the care they provided “Miss Kitty.” Kitty was loved by all who knew her. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston’s east end where she was a member of the school’s Scottish Brigade. She held several positions in the shipping business before landing a retail sales job at Foley’s department store where she retired after nearly 30 years. Kitty was a great bargain shopper and her favorite holiday was Christmas. She always outdid herself at Christmas making sure everyone had multiple packages to open while letting you know what a bargain it was. She enjoyed cooking and baking and made a wonderful pineapple cake with 3-minute icing. Kitty also cherished all the cats and dogs she had through the years, especially her Heidi. More than anything, Kitty loved her family and will be greatly missed. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, March 27, at 2 – 4 pm at Clayton Funeral Home in Pearland, TX. Funeral services will take place at 11 am, Monday, the 28th of March with interment to follow the service.
