Lorenzo Dwight Jackson was born on September 13, 1980 in Detroit, Michigan and was a blessing to the proud parents of Eddie and Janice McMillian.
He was educated in the Detroit Public School System, later receiving his diploma and certificate in Welding at Job Corp in Cleveland, Ohio.
He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Messiah Baptist Church with his grandmother. He also attended Unity Baptist Church with his mother.
Lorenzo, affectionately known as “ZO” was a fun loving young man. He enjoyed listening to music, rapping, making beats, and playing cards. He especially loved to cook his favorite dish, potatoes and onions.
Lorenzo departed this life suddenly on March 9, 2011.
He will forever be missed and in our hearts always.
He leaves to cherish his memories: His loving mother Janice (Burrell) McMillian Pitts, Pearland, TX. His birth mother, Grenetta Marchbanks, Detroit, MI. Grandmothers Klyetha McKnight, Pearland, TX and Bobby Neil Greene, Detroit, MI. Daughter Martavis Gene Mitchell. His siblings Kena Marchbanks, Lasaundra Marchbanks, Shawn (Anthony) Williams-Hill, Terris Marchbanks, Ed’Boni McMillian, Jason Marchbanks, Eddie McMillian Jr., Toya Sanders, Candis Sanders, Carly Bailey, and Danyell Bailey. Special brothers and sisters Kevin (Tamacia) Richardson, Franklin Looper and Makeda Hunts. His grandfathers William Prince McKnight and Julius Greene Sr. both preceded him in death. A host of nieces , nephews, relatives and friends.
