Obituary of Pamela Jane Kirkley
Pamela Jane Kirkley was born in New Rochelle, New York on November 5, 1947, and passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the age of 75 in Houston, Texas. She was one of three children born to USAF Chief Master Sergeant Walter and Marion Amolsch. Being a daughter to an airman, she traveled all over the world to finally settling in Arizona where she graduated high school. After high school, she moved to California and then to Texas where she worked in the plastic industry for over 30 years and met the love of her life Richard.
Richard and Pam were married 38 wonderful years.
Pam is preceded in death by her father Walter Amolsch and stepmother Florence Amolsch, and her mother Marion McGonigal Amolsch.
She is survived by her loving husband Richard Kirkley, her son Christopher Gore and daughter-in-law Stephanie Gore, her daughter Michelle Sullivan and son-in-law Jeffery Sullivan, her grandson Ty Kirkley and his fiancé Carlie Martelli, and her grandson Hunter Gore. Forever remembered by her sister Gladys Gammie and a host of extended family and friends.
Loving wife, mother, grandmother, Pam was affectionately known as “Nanny” or “Cool Nini” by many. Pam focused most of her life on her family, from cheering family and friends on, from “rocking it out” to her grandson’s music shows, to going to the movies with her grandson Hunter, or just making sure you knew she was there if you needed her. Pam cared deeply for her family and others around her and made an impact on many lives over the years. Pam loved shopping, and the holidays were no exception. She had an eye for certain things she’d known someone would love, but no matter what she found, it reminded you of Pam.
Pam will be missed and always in our hearts.
In Lieu of flowers, please consider sending a plant or donating in Pam’s honor to the charity of your choice.
