Obituary of Ruth B. Adams
Ruth B. Adams, 96, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents L.H. and Jennie Booher; brother Frank Booher; and sister Mary Alice Rauber. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Carol Ripper, Candy Adams-Olguin and husband, Joe, Connie Adams; brother Jerry Booher and wife, Bea; sister Vivian Schneider; grandchildren Stephanie Blake, Christopher Knox and wife, Bea, Casey Knox, Taylor Knox and wife Catherine; and three great grandchildren.
Ruth truly loved the Lord and was strong in her faith. She was a member of Sagemont Church for over 25 years. Ruth had a successful career as an Allstate Insurance agent for more than 40 years. She loved her family dearly and cherished her grandchildren. They became her pride and joy. Ruth was still driving at the age of 96. She enjoyed good health her entire life except for her short bout with breast cancer 20 years ago which she overcame. Ruth most surely had a green thumb. She could grow anything, from flowers to vegetables as well as herbs for cooking. Ruth inherited her father’s artistry talent; she was a wonderful oil painting artist herself all her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held for Ruth at 11:00 am, on May 27, 2023, at Providence Cemetery, in Caldwell, Texas with Pastor Rex Forsyth officiating.
