Obituary of Diane Marie Lewis
Diane “Dino” Marie Lewis, 75, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent Joseph Mazac and Dorothy (Higgins) McFarland, an infant son and brothers, Michael Mazac and Stephen Mazac. Left to cherish Dino’s memory are her husband of 57 years, Roger Lewis; son, Garrett Lewis and wife Kathy; daughter, Holly Brashier and husband Kevin; sisters, Deborah Richardson, and Catherine Gafford; grandchildren, Henry Lewis and wife Sarah, Regina Lewis, Mackenzie Ramirez and husband Michael, Morgan Brashier and wife Gabby, Nathan Lewis, Banks Brashier, and Ruby Brashier; great grandchildren, Omar, Asher, Tinsleigh and Trenton; and a host of many other family and friends.
Dino was a wonderful wife, mother, provider, and friend. A jack of all trades, she started multiple businesses from scratch, including Lewis Auto, Vintage Friends, Computer IQ, and Sister’s Westside Florist. Along with her husband Roger, she enjoyed taking their Street Rods to Rod Runs, spending time at their cabin in the Hill Country, and listening to Elvis. In her spare time, Dino enjoyed playing any kind of game with family and friends and crocheting “Memaw” blankets for NICU babies and her grandchildren. Dino will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Dino at Clayton Funeral Home (5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581) on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023. Visitation will begin at 1 pm, with the service commencing at 2 pm.
