Obituary of Celso Bernardez Baticados
Celso Bernardez Baticados, 88, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Carmen Baticados; and three brothers. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Fely D. Baticados; sons Don Baticados and wife, Victoria, Oslec Baticados and wife, Viera, Pedro Baticados II and wife, Sheralyn, Joecel Baticados and wife, Michelle; daughters Cely Andrada and husband, Blas, Maricar Lim and husband, Jerry; brother Remegio Baticados and wife, Pilar; sisters Raquel Biter, Trinidad Morales and husband, Raymundo, Didi Baticados; twelve grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and a host of many other family and friends.
Celso was a kindhearted and generous man who loved unconditionally. He was a man of few words; however he touched many lives. He was married to the love of his life, Fely, for 64 wonderful years. They enjoyed traveling together and were blessed to have visited many places throughout his life. Celso especially enjoyed going home to the Philippines to visit family and friends there. In his spare time, Celso was an avid reader and sports fan who loved to watch basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, and chess. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation is scheduled for Celso on Friday, August 11, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, in Pearland, Texas. The funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm, on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, in Manvel, Texas, with Father Roger Estorque officiating.
