Obituary of Jacquelyn Denise Judd Layman

Our precious “Jackie” peacefully went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 after a lengthy illness for many years. Born January 6, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky, she spent her childhood there, later to reside in the Houston area for 33 years. She is survived by her parents; Richard and Martha Larson of Pearland, TX, James R. and Martha Judd of Shepherdsville, KY and James A. Layman of Irving, TX. Sisters; Jeri Larson, Holly Hairston and Deanna Patro of Pearland, TX, Amy Alcorn of Taylorsville, KY, Teri Hall of Coxs Creek, KY, and Jeanine Etherton of Lebanon Junction, KY; sister-in-law, Linnea Layman of Manvel, TX. Brothers; James M. Layman of Manvel, TX, Jeffrey Layman of Dickinson, TX, Mark Larson and Eric Larson of Pearland, TX, Victor Judd of Louisville, KY, Michael Judd of Mount Washington, KY, Jimmy Judd and Jeffery Judd of Shepherdsville, KY. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jackie was “our sunshine” through it all, with a sweet gentle spirit and we honor her life. “We will always remember the love and joy you gave us; the childlike faith and innocence you possessed will always “shine” through our sweet memories of you.” A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, February 12, 2007, in the Chapel of Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, in Pearland with Rev. Sonny Foraker , pastor of First Baptist Church, Pearland, officiating.
