Please share a memory of Henry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Henry R Garcia, Jr. passed away on March 25, 2024 at the age of 59.
Henry was born to Henry, Sr and Gloria on December 15, 1964 in Frankfurt, Germany. Best known as a gentle giant at heart, Henry spent most of his life in La Porte, Texas. He was a talented football player known for his accomplishments on and off the field at La Porte High School. He parlayed those gifts and earned a full football scholarship at Texas Christian University and went on to receive his Bachelor’s in Business Administration. He enjoyed spending his free time coaching his children in soccer and football. He forged many lifelong friendships in high school, college, the local area and was probably the biggest Horned Frog fan in the area. Henry had a passion for music that he shared with others - you could hear him coming down the road in his car with his music blaring loudly. He would not start his drive until he had just the right musical selection.
Henry leaves behind his beautiful children Annalissa Lopez and her husband Joseph; and Henry, III and his wife Randi; his mother Gloria Pena and her husband, Alfred; brother Pete Garcia and his wife Ramona; his sisters Katherine and Cynthia. Henry was predeceased by his father, Henry Sr. and his beloved Granny, Trinidad.
