Obituary of Clara June Clark
Clara Clark, 96, passed away Tuesday May 28 in New Braunfels, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Anna Ayers Ferrell; husband of 65 years, Birdell Burt Clark; and five siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Bert Clark and Nelson Clark and wife Carolyn; four grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Clara had strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of La Porte. She was a School Teacher and taught for seventeen years. Clara did wonderful work with “Operation Care” for soldiers during the Iraq war. She loved her Country and was very patriotic. Clara was an excellent cook who loved cooking for her family and friends. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved cheering them on! Clara will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
A Graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday May 31st at Grandview Cemetery in Pasadena.
