Gus was a master of all building trades. He started out as a sheetrocker and developed his skills as a carpenter moving to framing and trim work as well as flooring. Gus learned the roofing trade and could build, repair or replace just about everything within a home. He was a very skilled handyman.
Gus loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a regular at Perry’s and Shipleys for many years and the folks at Whataburger will miss him dearly. Gus made friends everywhere he went and had many friends in and around Pearland. He was a giver of his time and skills his entire life. Gus was blessed for most of his life with good health and would seldom slow down because he was such a hard worker and good provider for his family. He also made time for his garden which he did all the work and would share with all his friends and family. Gus was affectionately known as Grandpa to all his grandchildren. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
