Cherish the thought that one celestial Christian reward may be to become a Guardian Angel. God assigns you a newborn to guide & protect for their earthly lifetime. A very special soul will be blessed to have our Aunt Cordy as their angel. She was such a devoted historian of the Rolf family ancestry and continuing legacy. We loved and thank her for so many things.

Ms. Cordelia....I always enjoyed going to visit her and specifically remember a time when I did not find her in her apartment and she was in the dining area enjoying the entertainment. She was easy to spot with her Astros jersey on! That day was also the day the Astros were playing for the first time that season. I treasure that memory of my time with her. And as well, the last time I saw her she talked and it was a great visit. I do miss her but at the same time grateful she is peaceful. Rest in peace Ms. Cordelia!

We have fond memories of Aunt Cordy’s 90th birthday celebration hosted by John, Rich and Heidi. Aunt Cordy was 90 going on 70. What a day it was with family members coming from all over the country to celebrate. Like a mini Rolf reunion . It’s a great memory ❤️
Below are some photos taken on that day.

The O’Donnell family has such fond and fun memories of Aunt Cordy at the Family Reunions and visits to Germany. She and Henriette ( my mom and her sister) enjoyed time together traveling and visiting their cousins in Germany. I will always be grateful to Aunt Cordy for her kindness and care to my mother through the years. I’m sure the two of them are enjoying each other’s company once again in Heaven. Wishing all my Degner cousins love and happy memories of their mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Love, Bob, Judy , Ryan and Jessica O’Donnell

Sincere condolences to the family. I am so very sorry for your loss. May God provide the necessary peace and comfort to your family and friends during this difficult time. Please remember these words of encouragement from the Bible: “Jesus plainly told her: I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” —John 11:20-25.

Cordelia was a great neighbor to have at Country Place. Then I was delighted when she followed me and moved to Watercrest and became neighbor and close friend. Cordelia became a part of so many lives at Watercrest. It’s difficult knowing my friend is gone from us, but knowing her strong faith, she’s happy in God’s hands.
