Obituary of Eva Thost Kennedy

Eva Thost Kennedy, age 48, passed away on June 21, 2008. Eva is survived by her husband, Bill Kennedy; son, James Kennedy & his fiancé, Kim; daughter, Becky Goodwin & her husband Chad; mother, Wanda Thost; brother, Dan Thost & his wife, Carol; grandchildren, James, Sean, & Christian Goodwin; nieces & nephews, Nathan, Rory, & Anna Thost; and a host of other family & friends. Eva is preceded in death by her father, A.P. “Dutch” Thost, and son, Joshua. Eva grew up in the Pasadena area. She and Bill were married 15 years and moved to Country Place in 1999 where she grew to adore her neighbors and friends. Family was very important to Eva; she enjoyed being a mother and grandmother and took on this role with a tender and caring heart. She was very active and volunteered with her father at various social functions at Country Place. Eva was a member of Calvary Chapel and looked forward to being at church with her “church family” every week. Eva and Bill traveled frequently in their travel trailer and would camp at various state parks, their favorite being Lake Somerville. Together with Bill, Eva was always there for her children and parents. Her fond memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Visitation for Eva will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home. The funeral will be on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at 10:00 am at Calvary Chapel, 3700 FM 528, Friendswood, Texas 77546, 281-648-5800. Pastor Ron Hindt will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Eva’s name to the Calvary Chapel Building Fund, 3700 FM 528, Friendswood, Texas 77546, 281-648-5800.
