Obituary of William Clark Donovan

William “Bill” Clark Donovan, 74, passed away on December 23, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Marjorie Donovan; and brother, John Donovan. Bill is survived is by his loving wife, Ida Maria Donovan; sons, John Donovan and wife, Heidi, Tim Donovan and wife, Luz; sister, Diana Chiaramonte; grandchildren, Tara Moore and husband, Scotty, Cori, Jack, Matty, Ashley, Cassidy and Summer Donovan; great grandchildren, Charlotte Moore, Irelyn and Donicio Reyes; and a host of other family and friends. Bill enjoyed sports and keeping up with his Longhorns. He was a graduate of the University of Texas and a strong supporter through his life. He coached his sons Little League baseball teams when they were younger and made sure exercise was not only a big part of his life but also that of his children. Family was very important to him and he cherished every opportunity he had to spend time with his grandchildren. Bill loved going to the beach or eating at his favorite restaurant, Molina’s. Bill loved life and treasured all his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation for Bill will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 11:00 am with a Rosary recited at 11:30 am at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will follow beginning at noon with Rev. James Courville officiating. Interment will take place at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
