Obituary of Lona Beatrice White Rhea

Lona Beatrice White Rhea, 94, passed away on February 16, 2012. Known lovingly to all who knew her as simply Bea Bea. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Bert White; her husband, B.K. Rhea; brother, T. R. White; and sister, Maxine White Walker. Bea Bea is survived by her daughter, LaWayne Rhea Kellum; sister, Lorraine White Meyer; grandchildren Larry Rhea Kellum, Garry Wayne Kellum, and Kimberly Kellum Rathbun; great grandchildren, Aldon Rhea Kellum, Candace Kellum, Courtney Kellum, David Kellum, Allison Kellum, Derek Rathbun, Denise Pyeatt, and a host of other family and friends. Bea Bea was a Sales Associate with Foley’s Dept. store for 25 years. After her marriage in 1936, she and B.K. traveled Texas, Oklahoma and South America while he was employed as an oil well driller, eventually settling in Houston. Bea Bea was a devoted, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished any opportunity she had to spend time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A Visitation for Bea Bea will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 11:00 am at Rosemont Cemetery in Wichita Falls, Texas.
