Old cousin and second grade classmate.
Where did all the years go? It was like yesterday when we sat in our second grade room looking out the window and playing football at lunch time. I often wonder how our life would be if we continued to live in Crockett,Texas. I will never forget you. Just a poor boy. Edward Payne-Athens Hornet

Family,
I wish to express my condolences to you considering a fine man and good friend Fred. He was a good man and excellent worker. He inspired everyone he was around whether they wanted to be inspired or not. I really appreciated his good heart and kindness to people. He was truly a people person. Always a smile and willing to try new and different things. He was a smart and calulated man that kept things real. He is one of a kind. We will see him in heaven later. I am blessed to have known him.

Uncle Freddy,
You always stressed the importance of education and family as I was growing up. Many of the lessons that you taught me remain with me and I’ve also shared them with others, so know that your wisdom continues to live.
I know that this is in accordance with His will, so my sorrow is tempered by the knowledge that you’re awaiting the rest of us in Heaven. May God rest your soul. I love you much!

Uncle Freddy,
You have been a part of my life, my history for as far back as my memory can remember. I don’t every remember a time when you weren’t around so in the days to come, I choose to think of you as having gone on ahead and will look forward to that time when I will see you again. It is a comfort to me to know that you are at rest and that you are in a place beyond the trials and tribulations of life. I will always remember the lessons you taught me and the high value you placed on education and family. May God Bless You, Uncle Fred and may his compassion and blessings rain continually on our family.

Some say love is measured by sacrifice, the more you love someone the more you’re willing to sacrifice for them. Fred loved his wife and family and it showed by the various ways in which he sacrificed himself for both. Christy may you look to God for comfort and guidance.

Fred, I just met you about 4 or 5 months ago at TSI. I was only there about 3 months, but, out of the whole company of about 20-25 people, you are the one who stands out in my mind. You were the one who was always easy to talk to. You were the one who was the most knowledgeable about the AutoCAD Plant 3D software. You were the one who made it as enjoyable as “work” can be. You were the one who kept it lively. You were the one that was always there when I got in at 6:00am. You were a true friend to me Fred and I will miss you greatly. I was hoping that we would be able to work together again. I guess someday you’ll be helping me with the software that they use in Heaven, what ever that may be. God Bless you Fred. You will be missed.

Fred was there for us so many times throughout the years with any help he could offer and he always offered it with so much grace and a “no thanks needed” attitude. Special memories for us will always be the times we actually enjoyed together during hurricanes. But also many other occasions from big celebrations like Christmas to simple things like showing off our new cars. He was a rare and special person and we will miss him greatly.

My dear cousin, Freddy. You are gone from this earthly life, but rest for sure you will not be forgotten. We will miss you very very much. The super “coolness,” charisma, professionalism and loving heart you wore set a remarkable example and will continue to inspire the succeeding generations of our family. Christy is my friend. I never met her husband but I can tell by her demeanor that she was deeply and appreciatively loved. My heart goes out to you Christy. Although Mr. Fredric may be asleep now, there will come a day when all those in the memorial tomb will be called out (John 5:28). And that will be a joyous day. He live a good life and loved a good woman. Take care Christy and family. I love you.

I told Fred he should be on the cover of Rolling Stone as one of the great blues players of the century! He laughed, saud he didnt play even guitar! But the hat the vest and the boots said it all. He admitted that he was asked for autographs. As I now grieve , I wished I had gotten his. He was there when my son needed friends as well as my neighbor. You will always be in my heart and may you find peace with the Lord and share a couple of our jokes and Crown Royal. Love, phil
