Sarah E. Ludvicek, 93, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John W. Ludvicek; son, Francis Ludvicek; four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Penning, and husband, Richard; grandchildren Scott Phillipi, Shelly Barmby, Tracy Ludvicek, Chris Penning and wife, Bethanie, David Penning and wife, Sandy, Susan Ludvicek; great grandchildren, Mallory, Travis, Jordan, Samantha, Megan, Jeff and Tyler; and a host of other family and friends.
Sarah enjoyed being a mother and homemaker taking care of her family. She loved sewing, needlepoint and crocheting. She was an avid reader. Sarah was known to most all of her family as “Grandma Sarah”. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A Rosary and Memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. The Rosary will be recited by her grandson, Deacon Chris Penning beginning at 5:00 pm and the Memorial Service will follow.
