Obituary of Melisa Gale Ellis

Melisa “Missy”Gale Ellis passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Missy was born in Houston, Texas on April 17, 1964 and was raised in Pearland, Texas. She spent much of the past 20 years living and working in New York City, which she greatly enjoyed. Missy was steadfast in her Christian faith. She was a proud mother and devoted friend to many. Missy was passionate about her work and also known for her generosity. Missy is survived by her mother, Martha Ellis and her son, Zachary Wasson and fiancé Emily Minter. She is also survived by her brother, Randy Ellis and sister-in-law Selena Ellis and their children, Erin, Matthew and Shannon; sister, Cindy Ellis and her children, Mallory, Piper and Carter. She is preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Ellis. A visitation for Missy will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 10:00 am at Clayton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland.
