Mike and Ellen were high school sweethearts and spent more than 45 years together. He faithfully cared for her through her illness until she went to be with the Lord. Together they had two precious daughters and were very proud of them. Family was a very important part of Mike’s life. He loved having fun with his family and could often be found golfing or fishing with one of his brothers. He adored his granddaughters and enjoyed being a Grandpa. Mike liked teaching his nephews and nieces just about anything! Mike enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his family and friends. You would also find him riding with and eating with his “Retread” buddies three times a week. He always looked forward to a good day of fishing and never wanted to miss a golf tournament. Mike was a successful business owner and had a strong work ethic. He never met a stranger and was very good at making people laugh. His philosophy was to work hard, play hard, and ride fast. Mike will forever be remembered for his generous nature and great sense of humor. He helped so many people in so many ways! We will miss him for the rest of our lives!!
