Obituary of Billy Ray Frizzell

Billy Ray Frizzell, age 71 of Pearland, passed away on July 22, 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents, Monroe & Mattie (Wooley) Frizzell; wife, Peggy Joann Frizzell; and grandson, Christopher Dougherty. He is survived by his son, Pete Frizzell & his wife Sherri; brother, Jack Frizzell & his wife Barbara; sisters, Gladys & Wilma; granddaughter, Kayla Dougherty; and a host of many other family & friends. Billy was born on June 4, 1938 in Crockett, Texas. He was a boilermaker with the Local Union #74 from 1966 until he retired in 1998. Billy and Peggy were happily married for 47 years. They enjoyed their family and loved their dogs. Billy was always a loving husband and good provider for his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed his yard and garden and was handy enough to fix just about anything. Visitation for Billy will be on Sunday, July 26, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home. The Funeral Service is on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the Clayton Chapel. Pastor Keith Anderson of New Harvest Christian Fellowship will be officiating. Interment is at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
