Obituary of Fred Adrain Sable

Fred Adrain Sable Jr., 73, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Olivia Sable; and brothers, Don and Richard Sable. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Beverly Sable; son, Rickey Sable and his wife, Linda; daughter, Terrie Gray and her husband, Keith; sister, Martha Strang and husband, Norman; grandchildren, Helen Sable, Lindsey Powell and husband, Matthew and Olivia Sable; great granddaughter, Madeline Sable; his beloved dogs, Karli and Coco; and a host of other family and friends. Fred was a pipefitter for 50 years with the Pipefitters Local 211. He retired in 2002 and he and Beverly enjoyed taking their travel trailer to their ranch and numerous other places in Texas. Fred was an excellent provider for all his family. Family was the most important thing to him and he always made sure their home was the gathering place for everyone along with plenty of food. He will forever be remembered for his love of his “snackers”. Fred was affectionately known to his grandchildren as “Paw Paw”. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his nurses, Debbie Allen, Nancy Warren, Gail Leighton and Silvia Donato-Moore with the Davita Home Dialysis Center. A visitation for Fred will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
