Obituary of Linda Pecot

Linda Pecot, a longtime resident of Pearland, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the age of 64 years. Linda was born October 5, 1942 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Earl and Martha (Edge) Morningstar. She was Past Chapter President of the Texas Bluebonnet Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation. An avid reader and collector of angels and hummingbirds, Linda will be fondly remembered as a “mother to all.” Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph “Joe” Pecot; two sons, Kenneth Pecot, of Corpus Christi and Troy Pecot, of Pearland; two daughters, Kerry Mohammadian and husband Kevin, of Pearland and Lisa Pennington and husband, Richard, of Rhome, Texas; two sisters, Marti Neilsen and husband, Donald, of Stockton, California and Sandy Lambo and husband, Bill, of Eureka, California; two sisters-in-law, Adele Koster and husband, Johnny, of Pearland and Jeanne Speaks and husband, Carl, of Houston; seven grandchildren, Joey Mohammadian, Charles Strickland and wife, Kristine, Brittany Mohammadian, Myshel Pennington, Mandy Pennington, Nick Pecot and Colin Pecot; two great-grandchildren, Amber Strickland and Kaylla Strickland; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. A funeral service celebrating Linda’s life will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, June 8, 2007, in the Chapel of Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway in Pearland.
