Obituary of Gary Dwayne Jones

Gary Dwayne Jones, 51, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Patsy Jones. Gary is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Peggy Sellers-Jones; son, Joshua Jones; daughter, Kendal Jones; stepdaughter, Megan Sellers; brother, Harry C. Jones and wife, Deanna; and sister, Sandra Waters. Gary had a special bond with his nephews, Shannon, Travis, and Christopher; and a host of other family and friends. Gary never met a stranger. He was a true people person, a great salesman and an enduring friend to many. Gary was a genuine family man. He loved talking about his children and took great pride in their accomplishments. He loved cooking and family gatherings. Gary enjoyed traveling and treasured his many family vacations. Gary will forever be remembered as a simple but elegant man. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A memorial service for Gary will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Pastor Howard Agnew officiating.
