My heart is so sad to learn of Janie’s passing. Even though I never met her, I feel as if I’ve lost a family member. When my son had his motorcycle accident over 5 years ago, she learned of it through a family member on his dad’s side of the family. Janie became one of Chris’ most faithful, loving, and dear prayer warriors. When my e-mail updates became fewer as he healed, I would get an e-mail from Janie just checking in to see how he was doing. She shared his story with others and expanded the prayer chain for Chris. She loved my son enough to include him in her daily prayers and praise God for the healing granted him. I can only imagine the wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother she must have been. She certainly touched my life and I will miss the connection we had. Heaven certainly gained a beautiful angel. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this most difficult time.

Cathy , Mark & family : You two were truly truly blessed with two sweet, loving, Godly parents. Your mom and dad were very special to my mom and dad. Because my dad was so young (2 yrs old) when your dad was born, they were more like brothers than Uncle & nephew. Im sure you have heard the stories! Daddy actually was nicknamed “Unc” because of Charles being born when daddy was so young. And when my dad and mom married-, Janie and Charles & mom and dad all were close. Your mom and my momma were like sisters. Im sure you heard the story many times, of My mom and your mom trading houses, while my dad and your dad were at work! My momma is really gonna miss those calls that Janie made to her to see how she was and to just talk, as sisters talk. Momma didnt have a sister, and she is sure gonna miss Janie. I know that you all are going to go thru some rough days, but I also know that Your mommma and daddy are together again and that they left you all with wonderful memories and gave you the tools you need to carry on their legacy of love. They prepared you all well, by showing you how to love one another and that God should always be first in your life. At least thats what I believe they showed us all. God Bless you all, You are all in our hearts and prayers.
