Obituary of Stephen Frederic Collett

Stephen Frederic Collett, 52, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nora Stephens Collett. Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Tiffiny; their son Chase; father, George Collett and his wife, Joyce; brothers, Robert Collett and wife, Marie, Brad Collett and wife, Jessica, Scott Crowell and wife, Michelle; sister, Jennifer McIntire and husband, Glenn; and a host of other family and friends. Stephen was a huge Houston Texans fan and looked forward to tailgating at all the home games. In 2005, “Bulls & Babes”, a tailgating team of which Stephen was a member, was honored as Tailgaters of the Year. He enjoyed working on his house and spending time cooking in his outdoor kitchen. Stephen believed that bacon made everything better! Stephen was a graduate of the University of Houston School of Engineering and a longtime Cougar fan. He used many of his engineering skills to construct and enhance items for their tailgating experience. Stephen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial Service for Stephen will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm with a service to follow at 2:00 pm.
