Veita Kay Miguez, 68, passed away on April 9, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Norman Havens; and brother, Jimmy Havens. Veita is survived by her loving husband of over 30 years, Ronnie Miguez; son, Scott Curry; daughter, Tina Curry; grandchildren, Hunter, Fisher, Sara, Austin and Chance; and a host of other family and friends.
Veita loved gardening, fishing and being outdoors. Her favorite sport to watch was bull riding. Veita enjoyed her favorite drink Coca Cola. She and Ronnie always looked forward to spending time relaxing and fishing at their weekend home in East Matagorda Bay. Veita will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service for Veita will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at Calvary Church in Sargent, Texas with Brother Ben Kerns officiating.
