There are few people in my life that I can say I knew and loved when I was a child, through adolescence and as a mature adult. Grandma you are one of those few. I had the pleasure of spending some time with you in your final years,in Texas, where I was able to renew relationships with family lost but never forgotten. I was one of the few who visited you on the Cape, we would dine and spend some time together. I remember family trips to Florida and Puerto Rico, we always laughed and loved. My Dearest Grandmother, I promise that your spirit will live on through me and any others whom love and laugh and share our Faith. God Rest You and Keep You. I will celebrate your life on this day, my birthday.

My Aunt Mary was such a joy to me and I will never forget how she was especially caring to my mother, her sister, when she became sick with Alzheimer’s disease. She was a very special lady and I’m glad my husband Greg and I were able to spend time with her here at my home and at hers on the Cape. I will never forget her beautiful smile, laughter and the jaunty hats she loved to wear. I will miss my Aunt Mary all the days of my life.
