Obituary of Emma Claire Siggins
Please share a memory of Emma to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Emma Claire Siggins was born on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 1:55pm to proud parents, William and Gaby Siggins. She weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 19 ¾ inches long. She was baptized on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 to join God’s kingdom.
Emma’s family was blessed to have 48 days with baby Emma, before she went to meet our heavenly father on Sunday, May 12, 2013 (a very special Mother’s Day) at 4:51pm (by coincidence, the time of her sister Hannah’s birth).
Emma loved holding hands with her mommy, daddy, big sister Hannah, grandparents and aunties. She loved listening as mommy and daddy sang her songs as they gave her softs on her head and caressed her face. Emma really seemed to enjoy when her big sister Hannah would rub lotion on her sweet little hands and feet. Emma must have been so proud of her daddy for suggesting a countless number of ideas that could possibly save his little girl’s life. You could see her sense of peace when mommy would say, “I love you sweetheart, to the moon and back, to the moon and back” an uncountable number of times.
Emma is deeply loved and missed by her mommy and daddy, big sister Hannah, her grandparents, Carl and Jeanette Siggins and Juan and Yolanda Villarreal, great grandparents, Marie Milstead and John Siggins, aunts, Brenda Kissack, Yoly Villarreal, Kaylee Siggins and Kristy Symes, uncles, Scott Symes and Tom Cepeda, cousins, Abby Escalante, Connor Kissack, Jordan Symes, Chloe Symes, Sienna Kissack, Havyn Symes, Matthew Cepeda, Sophia Cepeda and many other family members and friends including people that never had the opportunity to meet her in person. She was an inspiration to all for her tenacity and strength bringing people all over the world together in prayer and creating a movement towards faith and closeness with God. Emma inspired people to believe in miracles and the power of prayer. We will never forget you Emma.
Emma will forever remain mommy and daddy’s precious baby girl and Hannah’s little sister or as she called her, “Emma Waffle Peanut”, followed by a contagious laughter. This family will be together again, on one special day, when they will hold each other and it will be as it should have been. May God bless her and keep her and bring comfort and peace to all who love her.
Funeral services for Emma will be on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10:00am at Epiphany Lutheran Church at 5515 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas with Pastor Aaron officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made in Emma’s name to Texas Children’s Hospital.
