Obituary of Cecil Dale Massey

Cecil Dale Massey Sr., 70, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Lela Ruth Massey. Cecil is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Carolyn Ann Massey; sons, Cecil Massey Jr. and wife, April, Christopher Estes and wife, Jessica, Michael Joseph; daughter, Shelly Harrison and husband, Glen; sisters, Betty West and husband, George, Debbie LaFrance; grandchildren, Kristopher, Trae, Chase, Tyjha, Jonathon, Devin, Dane, Cameron Brittney, Jordan, Maya, and Amy; and a host of other family and friends. Cecil was a self-made, hardworking entrepreneur that owned body shops, wreckers, and impound lots. He started out as a mechanic and grew from that to a successful business owner. Cecil was a wonderful provider for his family and never hesitated to help anyone in need. He was very good with his hands and had a mechanical mind and could fix anything or solve any problem. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A Memorial Service for Cecil will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Pastor Samuel Harris officiating.
