Before he was a sailor, diver, father or coach, he was a soldier. George proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In addition to serving his country, he served the aerospace industry for over 40 years working on various NASA projects from Apollo missions to International Space Station missions. George will be greatly missed by not only his family, but by all who were fortunate to have known him.
