Ruth C. Vollman, age 92 of Cypress, Texas, passed away on November 9, 2008. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Vollman. Ruth is survived by her sons, Merlin Vollman & his wife, Betty and Gene Vollman; grandchildren, Pam Berss & her husband Richie, Byron Vollman, Stacy DeMarco & her husband, Jerome, Kelly Neimann & her husband, Chad, Kristin Vollman, Jim Michna & his wife, Sherry, and Tom Michna; great-grandchildren, Tanner Vollman, Kolby Berss, Emily DeMarco, Clay DeMarco, Amanda Michna and Travis Michna.
Ruth was born on January 29, 1916 in Monticello, Arkansas. She lived in the Houston area for 71 years. She worked for many years in retail sales at Joskes.
Visitation for Ruth will be held on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment is at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland. Pastor Glen Liston will be officiating.
