Obituary of Patricia Lynn Kolaski

Patricia Lynn Kolaski, 51, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 11, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lorean Spruill. Tricia is survived by her loving husband, of 29 years, Michael Kolaski; brother, Laddie Spruill and partner, Glenn Word; and a host of other family and friends. Tricia graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Degree in Music. She was classically trained on the piano, had an amazing voice and used her wonderful gift to teach and educate others in music. Tricia taught not only piano but also voice and other musical instruments. Many of her students went on to have successful music careers. Although music was her love, Tricia’s real passion was fishing. She loved fly-fishing and fishing for Redfish. Tricia had a strong faith and was truly devoted and loved her church family at Sagemont Church. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation for Tricia will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:30 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Schneider officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
