Obituary of Kyle Patrick Nickel

Kyle Patrick Nickel, 26, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Patti Nickel; brother, Eric Matthew Nickel; grandmothers, Marlyn Nickel and Dolores Jamison; and a host of other friends and family.
Kyle was a vibrant and out-going young man that enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and playing baseball. He was an excellent baseball player and was pursued by several college programs before playing for San Jacinto and Daytona Beach Community Colleges. Kyle went on to play for the Pittsburgh Pirates in their developmental league. As an avid outdoorsman, he fished daily in the local community ponds. Kyle was always friendly and helpful to others. He had a huge heart and accepted everyone for who they were without judgment. Kyle was a wonderful son and brother that will forever be remembered for his great sense of humor, his compassion towards others and his personal philosophy, “Don’t worry, it will always work out!” He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A memorial service for Kyle will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 am at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Father James Courville officiating.
