Obituary of Toby Douglas Boyer

Toby Douglas Boyer, 59, of Houston, passed away on November 10, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mabel Boyer; wife, Marsha Boyer; son, Toby Boyer, and brothers, Timothy and Teddy Boyer. Toby is survived by his daughters, Melissa Matson and husband, Thomas, Megan Boyer; grandchildren, Hailey, Rebekah and Thomas Matson II; and a host of other family and friends. Toby was an avid Oklahoma University football fan and enjoyed playing tennis in the last few years. He was strong in his faith and taught Sunday School at Sugar Creek Baptist Church. Toby loved the outdoors and looked forward to whitewater rafting excursions. He was affectionately known as “Pa Pa” to his grandchildren and cherished every opportunity he had to spend time with them. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation and service for Toby will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Sugar Creek Baptist Church, 13333 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas 77478. The family will receive friends for 6:30 until 7:00 pm and the funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm.
