Obituary of Karen Marie Wagner

Karen Marie Wagner, 56, of Pearland, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 24, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Bonnie Baker. Karen is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Robert Wagner; son, Brian Christopher Wagner; brothers, Ricky Baker and wife, Martha, Frank Baker and wife, Lynn; and a host of other family and friends. Karen was very active in the Boy Scout program in Bay Area Council. She served as Den Mother, Troop Leader and Commissioner for many years as she proudly watched Brian work towards earning his Eagle Scout rank. Karen had a strong work ethic and was always helping those in need in her family and at her work with Bellaire Hospital where she served as Lab director for many years. She always looked forward to dessert and will forever be remembered for her bargain shopping where she could always find a deal. Karen will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A Visitation and Rosary for Karen will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 6:00 pm. The funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, November 27 at 1:30 pm at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd., Pearland, Texas 77581 with Father Jim Courville officiating. Interment will follow at SouthPark Resurrection Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
