Obituary of Jason Alan Salais

Jason Alan Salais, 34, of Pearland, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013. He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Soyla Salais; his loving wife, Jamie Salais; daughter, Madison Salais; son, Sean Baker; sisters, Natalie Salais, Erica Mendez and husband, Joe; grandparents, Sally Salais, Benny and Fred Guzman Sr.; nephews, Nathan Medina and Noah Balderas; and a host of other family and friends. Jason was a wonderful son, husband, and father. He loved baseball and was an outstanding pitcher for Milby High School. Jason loved the New York Yankees and cherished his trip to New York to see a game in Yankee Stadium. He loved to travel and see different parts of the country. He and Jamie always looked forward to yearly trips to the Hill Country. Jason was an excellent provider for his family and credits his work at Logix Communications for meeting Jamie. He was employed as an IT Specialist for J.P Morgan Chase. Jason loved being a father and spending time with his children, Maddie and Sean. He enjoyed cooking on his outdoor grill, whether it was steaks or briskets. Jason will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation for Jason will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Dr. Jeff McDowell officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
