Obituary of Jeremy Wayne Smith

Jeremy Wayne Smith, 43, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014. He is survived by his father, Jerry Smith and wife, Leigh; mother, Wendy Sanders and husband, Joe; second mother, Tamri Morgan and husband, Randy; his loving wife of 15 years, Michelle Smith; sons, Kaleb and Karson Smith; daughter, McKenna Smith; brothers, Kelly Moore, Ryan and Rick Snyder; sisters, Katrina Walker and husband, Gary; Annyce Price and husband, Royce; and a host of other family and friends. Jeremy was a dedicated soldier and paratrooper proudly serving his country in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne Division. Jeremy was a family man and an incredible role model touching hearts young and old. He was very dedicated to his children and their many activities, serving as a baseball and football coach for the last several years. He was an excellent provider for his family, working as a Branch Manager for Orkin Pest Control for the last 9 years. While at Orkin, he was a motivational leader and mentor inspiring everyone who was fortunate to cross paths with him. He cherished spending time with his family, enjoying a good game of golf, sharing stories and laughs with his many close friends, and always looked forward to the annual crawfish boil. Jeremy will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Clear Lake Heart and Vascular Hospital, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and the Air Flight Medical Team for all of their loving care and support. A visitation for Jeremy will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Brumbelow of Southview Baptist Church officiating.
