Obituary of Linda Gale Mosley

Linda Gale Mosley, 67, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 17, 2014. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ernestine Smith Shepherd; husband, Calvin D. Mosley Sr.; son, Calvin D. Mosley Jr; and sister, Carol Diane Walker-Ward. Linda is survived by her father Jesse Walker; son, Michael Mosley; daughter, April Walker-Williams and her husband, Mikheal; brothers, Ronald and Jimmy Walker; sisters, Barbara McKinney, Ellen Washington, Sheila Davis Walker-Wood, Jeanette Slater; grandchildren, Mikheala Williams, Vashun Henry; step-grandchild, La’Pasia Hines; special friends, Earnest Wilson and Kimberly Johnson; and a host of other family and friends. Born in Houston Texas, Linda attended Phillis Wheatley High School and lived all of her life in Houston. She enjoyed sewing and making all of the dresses for April’s bridesmaids. Linda enjoyed traveling going on cruises with her family and friends. She was a lady of strong faith, attended Lakewood Church and always loved singing and praising God. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and she was affectionately known to all of her family and friends as “Tiny” and her grandchildren as “Nana”. Linda will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation and funeral service for Linda will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 am and the funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Reverend J.D. Walker officiating. Apostle Julius Glass will deliver the Eulogy and Kevin Price and Duane Pee will provide the Readings. Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
