Obituary of Louis Adrian Pardo
Please share a memory of Louis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Louis Adrian Pardo, 82, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Lucille Pardo. Lou is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Adelene Pardo; brother, John Robert Pardo and wife, Katherine; sister, Stella Gardon and husband, Ed; and a host of other family and friends.
Lou and Adelene lived in Houston when they first got married and were given a weimaraner dog by one of their neighbors. Adelene trained their first dog and won many awards. This started a passion for them that lasted over 30 years as Lou and Adelene raised, trained and showed all over the world. They moved to Alvin and raised many champions throughout the years. Lou was excellent with his hands and could fix just about anything from cars to electrical problems to plumbing fixes. When he retired from the Post Office, he went to work for Pearland Lumber and found great joy in helping explain to others how to fix things. He was a faithful parishioner at St. Helen Catholic Church for more than 40 years and was active for many years with the Pearland Lion’s Club. Lou enjoyed hunting and fishing most of his life. He and Adelene had a wonderful life together and did most everything together except the “hunting” and you could always ask Adelene why she’d never go hunting with him. Lou will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A visitation and rosary for Lou will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass will take place on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 1:00 pm at St. Helen Catholic Church with Father Wayne Wilkerson officiating.
