Obituary of Tommy Lee Franklin

Tommy Lee Franklin Jr., 58, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He is preceded in death by his father, Tommy Lee Franklin Sr. Tommy is survived by his mother, Jean Cooper Franklin Parton; his loving wife, Carol Franklin; daughter, Tiffany Franklin Lloyd and husband, Cody; step sons, Andrew Vied and A.J. Wagner; step daughter, Sarah Vied Zeller and husband, Jason; brothers, Michael and David Franklin; sisters, Cindy Franklin Wylde and husband, Gary, Teresa “Lori” Franklin Shockley; grandchildren, Taylor Franklin and Tegan Lloyd; step grandchild, Zack Zeller; and a host of other family and friends. Tommy and Carol were married more than 18 years and enjoyed spending time together, whether it was watching tv shows or going to concerts. He was an ASE Master Certified Technician and International Trucks Diamond Certified Technician that worked for International Trucks of Houston for more than 30 years. He was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies. Tommy was very good working with his hands and a gifted mechanic. Tommy embraced technology and enjoyed keeping up with the latest trends. He cherished spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
