Obituary of Helen Pearl Barrett

Helen Pearl Barrett, 92, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Alma Dummett; her loving husband, Robert Vincent Barrett; brothers, William, Thomas and Harry Dummett; and sisters, Martha and Mary Dummett. Helen is survived by her son, Luke Edward Flannery and wife, Jeanne; daughters, Judy Ann smith and husband, John, Kathleen Barrett Fontaine and husband, Raymond; grandchildren, Missy, Jennifer, Robyn, John and Stacey; great grandchildren, Jonathan, Dailey, Barrett, Kirby and Macey Pearl; and a host of other family and friends. Helen adored her family and loved taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed the years she lived in France and Germany and all of the traveling the family did while Bob was stationed there in the Army. Helen will forever be remembered from her reminiscing about her childhood and many stories her summers on Grandma Gill’s West Virginia farm. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A private family graveside service will be held at a later time.
