Obituary of Charles Ray Fox

Charles Ray Fox, 72, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Beulah Fox and mother-in-law Mildred “Mingo” Sandusky. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Margaret Fox; daughters, Cindy Fox Cavazos and Tracy Fox; granddaughter, Kelsie Cavazos; great granddaughter, Eleanor Williams; sisters, Bonnie Sue Law, and husband, Fred, Linda Kay Rogers and husband, Rothey; father-in-law, A. N. “Sandy” Sandusky; brother-in-law, Dr. George Sandusky and wife, MaryAnn; sisters-in-law, Kathryn Barnett, Patty Esslinger and husband Warren Campbell; also not to be forgotten, his dog and little buddy “Lucy Lou”; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
Charles graduated from Bay City High School and lived in Pearland since 1978. He enjoyed camping, being outdoors and helping all of his family and neighbors, especially those friends residing on Orange and Linwood Streets with whom he became very close with over the years. Charles was a great provider for his family and loved them very much. He was affectionately known as “Papa” and considered being a grandfather to Kelsie and Ellie one of his greatest joys. Charles will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Charles’ honor to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society.
