Kellett Franklin Williams, age 80 of Pearland, passed away on September 9, 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie & Opal (Pollard) Williams, and daughter, Tammie Watson. He is survived by his wife, Polly; sons, Bruce Evans & his wife Karen and Manley May & his wife Jodi; daughters, Rhonda Lindsey & her husband Jim, Melanie May, and Andra Finley; sister, Vera Shaffer; and a host of many other family & friends.
Kellett was born on December 28, 1928 in Dallas, Tx. He served in the Air Force for three years before attending Texas A&M University where he received a degree in Business Administration. He spent many years in the Houston area as an electrical sales representative. Kellett was a history buff, an avid golfer, and a huge fan of all sports, especially the Texas Aggies. At retirement, Kellett and Polly moved to the Pearland area to fulfill his dream of living on a golf course. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with his family, and attending Southside Church of Christ. Kellett’s endearing memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
Visitation for Kellett is on Friday, September 11, 2009, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 10:00 am. Interment will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009 at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
